The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Building Solid Families Program is a joint initiative of the Government of Western Australia through the Department of Health and the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing through the Office of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health (OATSIH). The program provides a comprehensive information and support service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities, particularly those:

  • affected by family separation, trauma, grief and loss
  • affected by mental health problems
  • at risk of self-harm
